Though the world truly is not a paradise, there are still people kind enough to make this world a better place. It is admirable to see selfless people serve the unfortunate ones and not ask anything in return.
Wang is a 29 years old Chinese millionaire who spent all his money to save helpless stray dogs who are kept in a slaughterhouse. Despite knowing that he will go bankrupt, he still did it as he is kind and compassionate.
Wang said in an interview with a Chinese news agency that it is hard to look at slaughterhouses and do nothing about it. He told the agency: “I went looking everywhere, but all to no avail, Finally, someone let me go into the slaughterhouse to try my luck there.”
When he saw what the dogs are going through in the slaughterhouse in Changchun city, in China’s northeastern Jilin province, he knew he had to do something. The kind man bought and converted the slaughterhouse into a dog sanctuary at the cost of $400,000.
He was asked during the interview if he got any kind of support from other people. He told them that he does not accept monetary donations. However, he hopes that kind-hearted people would donate the sanctuary some supplies.
Sadly his kind acts cost him all his fortunes and money and led him to bankruptcy. But despite being bankrupt, he was able to save the lives of at least 2,000 dogs.
A lot of people would think that what he did was already enough, but Wang did more than that. Out of the 2,000 dogs that he saved, he was able to find a home to 1,800 dogs, and only 200 dogs are left to find their own home.
We hope that the story of Wang will inspire a lot of people to do kind acts such as that.
