Birthdays are one of the best times of the year when you are a kid. You get many birthday presents from everyone, and you can eat and party with your friends all day long. But not every kid prefers parties and gifts, some kids like it better to give rather than receive on their birthdays.
7-year-old Michael is a great example. He decided that for this birthday this year, he wanted to give back. During his 7th birthday, he, his family, and his friends provided for many shelter dogs in need at Butler County Humane Society.
On his special day, he brought all of the donations that they collected to the humane society. His donations included bags of dog food and trash bags. The Butler County Humane Society expressed their gratitude towards Michael on Facebook.
Many people on the social media site said some positive comments, including birthday wishes and gratefulness for his kind act.
But Michael was not the only kid who has done such a generous act. There are also other kids like Michael, who are just as passionate about helping animals. During her tenth birthday, young girl Hailey also asked for donations to a local shelter.
At her unicorn-themed birthday party, she asked all of the guests to donate to Boone County Animal Shelter. But birthdays are not the only time kids dedicate themselves to animals. Some kids raise money for their shelters too.
One of them is the eight-year-old boy, Lando. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he began making masks and sold them. He donated his earnings to the Sanctuary Animal Rescue.
Raising your children to be a giver when they have a spare can lead to many incredible things. We hope it rains blessings on these three kids and to other kids just like them.
