After being lost for more than two years, the dog named Bosco has finally been reunited with his owner. Despite the odds being against him, he finally found a happy ending to his long journey.
The most amazing part of this reunion is despite being an old blind dog; the lost dog still recognised his owner’s voice. His tail would not stop wagging when they are finally together.
Bosco resides in a small Rhode Island coastal town along with his owner, Bob. He lived there until one day; he found a way to free himself of his leash. He then wandered away from his owner’s backyard.
It took long enough, and he never returned home. Since they live in a small town, residents knew Bosco. But even though they knew her, no one found a trace of the dog.
After a couple of years, a volunteer at Missing Dogs of Massachusetts named Sheilah Graham got a call regarding the lost dog. The dog has been living on the streets.
He scavenges food from the trash bins outside of restaurants to survive. Graham placed a trap for the dog. A few nights later, she was able to catch the lost dog. Now the dog was in safe hands.
She then took Bosco to the vets where they were able to find a chip on him. After finding out the owner, she called Bob. Bosco is barking in the background, which makes Sheila ask him “do you recognise this voice?”.
Surprisingly, it did not take long, and he recognised the voice of Bob. He then said to Bosco how much he misses him. The dog could not stop his tail from wagging.
He told the rescuer that he moved to Colorado 2,000 miles away from where she and his dog were. Sadly he could not drive all the way to Rhode Island as he is handicapped.
But surprisingly, Sheila volunteered to drive Bosco to Colorado to reunite with his owner. It took 36 hours for them to reunite. It was all thanks to the kind volunteer, Sheila, that these two buddies were able to reunite.
