A lost puppy had somehow found his way in front of the vet clinic that has taken care of him ever since he was born. The 4-month-old Thai Ridgeback puppy got lost and could not find his way back home.
What he did next was the smartest idea. He went on the doorstep of the Phuttaraksa Animal Clinic, in the Muang district of Samut Prakan. He asked for help at the vets there.
Last Tuesday, the dog whose name is Khiew Ngern, went missing. He could not find his way back home. He was caught on surveillance footage. In the footage, he was seen standing in front of the clinic’s door. He was trying to get in.
One of the assistants in the clinic ignored him as she is busy with one of the clients. But the dog was determined to get help, so he started barking and pawing at the door.
The assistant then looked closely and recognised the lost dog. Khiew Ngern looked familiar to her, so she let the dog enter.
The vet, Saengduen Chotepanus, then finished treating her patients. Her assistant told her that Khiew Ngern was waiting outside. She then checked the lost dog.
Khiew quickly recognised the vet and was so happy about it. The vet then checked Khiew’s records and found out who his owner is. She quickly contacted the owner of the lost dog.
She let them know where their dog was. The owner, Bunwara, told them that their dog went missing earlier that day. She searched for her dog and was finally relieved to find out where he was.
It turned out that the dog has been visiting the clinic ever since he was just one month old. He receives his vaccinations there regularly.
The owner and the vet thought that he learned how to get there as he remembered the place.
