Dogs often bring wonderful and inspiring stories. And luckily, we always have the opportunity to hear those inspiring stories. Dogs will forever be a man’s best friend. Dogs love doing courageous things for their owners that they love the most.
Though they are mostly considered as just pets, to some people, dogs are sweetest companions they ever have in their lives. Even though dogs cannot talk, listening to them is already enough. The elderly who have no one around them, consider dogs as their companion.
As time passes by, dogs and their owners develop an incredible bond that lasts for more than a lifetime. It is not just about feeding or caring activities. These creatures are one of the most empathetic towards humans. They understand us very well. If we are sad, they try their best to cheer us up, and when we are happy, they join us in that happiness. Some have even saved their owners from danger.
In this story, a person named Andy Szasz was diagnosed with pneumonia. He was then taken to a hospital. However, things became dangerous when he stopped breathing the next day. The poor man was put in an induced coma.
Doctors from Southampton General Hospital in England predicted that he would be in a coma for at least a week after his treatment. This is sad news for his wife, Estelle. His wife decided to bring their dog, Teddy, to help Andy overcome his illness.
And thank God, bringing Teddy helped Andy overcome his illness. The doctors were surprised when they learned that Andy woke up four days after. This was not the first time Teddy helped Andy overcome his illnesses.
Teddy is a 4-year-old rescued dog. He is a mixture of a schnauzer-poodle. He is honoured by the UK’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Animal Wildlife for his acts. Surprisingly, the RSPCA was also the place where he was adopted.
