There is an ideal breed of dogs for one woman who lives in Lithuania. The ideal breed for her is the breed Komondor. The Komondor breed is a breed that looks like strands of a mop.
Ever since Gintarė Bertauskienė was a child, she was always fascinated with the breed after she received a postcard that had a Komondor on it. It was one of her dreams to have one. And after many years, that dream came true. Now, the woman owns the Komondor named Hanga. Hanga was one of the two Komondors in her country.
Every time Gintarė Bertauskienė was out along with her dog, people would often stop. They would then ask for a photo as they are fascinated with the mop-looking dog’s hair. Because the dog has long and thick fur, she needs proper grooming and care. And luckily for Hanga, his owner is a pet groomer, so he will never have any problems with his fur being so long and thick.
The mop-looking dog became an internet sensation after he swam in a lake. His owner took a video of him as he floated on the lake. The video was then shared on social media. The clip has approximately 19 million views. Thanks to the million views, she was able to profit from it, which in turn, she was able to pay for Hanga’s surgery.
Though Komondors have unusual furs, they are not born with dreads. These dogs are usually born with white, fluffy, short coats. And when they grow up, their hair starts to turn into long mats. And when they reach the age of 5, their hair becomes similar to that of Hanga. But when groomed their dreads hair were not a problem.
The breed is known to be kind and loyal but at the same time overprotective.
