Meet Marcelo, he’s a newly-adopted little boy who first arrived at his new home in October 2018. His new family owns dogs, and those dogs frightened the little boy. Little Marcelo would not stop screaming in front of them. He did not want to be near them.
His new mother, Holly Brookhoser, was surprised by the little boy’s fear of dogs. She never expected that to happen.
But all those fears went away as soon as Marcelo met Mini, a 13-year-old chihuahua. Mini loves little children like Marcelo, so when she met him, she always followed him.
According to Brookhouser, the little dog patiently guided Marcelo, and that trait would soon win over the little boy
The first time Mini licked the little boy; they immediately became best friends. Mini was Marcelo’s first friend, and she was the first to guide him into the house.
Now this adorable duo is inseparable. Mini follows Marcelo everywhere; the bathroom is not an exception. For Marcelo, that is not a problem; in fact, he enjoys the little dog’s company. Whenever he is playing with his toys, he would often play with Mini.
Brookhouser enjoys watching the child and the dog bond. She can see that they are each other’s companies.
Slowly, Marcelo’s fear of dogs faded because of his new best friend. The family currently has two children, two adorable dogs and two new kittens.
Though Marcelo and Mini are pretty much inseparable, the little boy also loves spending time with their other dog, Jack. And now with the two new kittens, Marcelo will surely be happier. After all, the more, the merrier, right?
Dogs can surely be great teachers to children. It is a fact that children and dogs are more likely to bond with each other and help one another. Watch their adorable video below.
