Losing a dog is something that every dog lover fears. As a matter of fact, it is one of the things that they fear the most.
That is precisely what had happened to Coco. Coco is a female Sprocker with a family who loves her very much. So when she was separated from them, the family began to fear the worst.
On the morning of October 1, it was believed that Coco was snatched ahead of a walk at Moseley Bog. The dog’s owner, Roz Pearce, was parked at Windmere Road entrance.
She was going for a walk along with her dog, Coco, that morning when suddenly, her dog ran off to the bushes beside their car. Coco was then taken into a grey Ford Focus, who had sped off from the parking.
The family was devastated at the loss of their dog. They searched everyday for Coco. The family did everything they could, and even reported the incident to the police.
Thankfully, after almost two weeks, Coco had been returned to the family. The West Mercia Police recovered the dog at a site in Evesham.
The authorities issued a search and investigation for the dog after the family reported the incident. Though the dog has now been returned to the family, the West Mercia Police are still on an investigation to find out whoever stole Coco.
Right now no arrests have been made, but the West Mercia Police are in the process of reviewing CCTV footage. The authorities will be keeping in touch with the owners through the whole investigation.
The family is glad to have their dog back, and are thankful for the help of West Mercia Police. Please help spread the word to find Coco’s abductor by sharing this article.
